today is the day God said you made it thru all satans misfits You even prayed for them that God would hem Even when u felt unfit God showed me im fit It’s time to fly your kite You climb above the height Even when your cried at night You knew u was surrounded by knights Even when fear creeped in ur mind U asked God to hop on the flight I said God i wanna remain kind I wanna help others from being blind Show them God is the one who aligns God is the one who frees us from binds And it’s always on Gods time He wants all his people to shine Even when we can’t walk in a straight line God will put satan in his lane While we hope on mercy and graces plane Where we let go of our pain Where we can break our own chains Be free from all satans games Take back our soul the enemy tried to claim Satan thought we would sit in shame But God said we hold no blame God said it’s time to light the holy fire flame Show satan we will all rise above what he tried to tame
