IRON CEDAR — “DUST TO DIAMONDS”

IRON CEDAR — “DUST TO DIAMONDS” [Intro] Yeah… Iron Cedar. You scrolling past the music, but you don't hit like. Don't follow, don't share— That's alright. I'ma let the product speak for itself. [Verse 1] I'm out here making music while you scrolling through the feed, Watching every video but won't support the dream. But it's cool, I don't need you to validate the grind, I'm getting online buys while you waiting on the shelf line. Old material collecting dust, sitting there played out, I'm taking all that dust and figuring the diamonds out. Turn pressure into shine, every rhyme became a brick, Now they hearing Iron Cedar like, “Damn, this dude is it.” Midwest made, coming straight out the Northwoods, Small city, big dreams—Hayward understood. State-test pressure, but I never failed the mission, I turned satisfaction into hunger and ambition. [Hook] Now they mad 'cause I'm moving, Mad 'cause I'm proving, Everything they doubted, I turned into music. Dust into diamonds, Pain into gold, Iron Cedar on the stage— Watch the story unfold. [Verse 2] I came through like Mike Jackson, two gloves, one show, Lights hit the stage, now everybody wanna know. I remember all the hate, all the people talking down, Funny how the same ones hating now be showing up in town. They downgraded me, “less than,” tried to belittle my name, Now they watching Iron Cedar while I'm stepping in the game. I stayed inside my lane, stayed focused through the pressure, Time paid the bill—I learned patience is the treasure. I was lost in my ways, had to find my way back, Found God, found Jesus, put my life back on track. Now every verse got purpose, every move got direction, I ain't chasing validation—I'm building my reflection. [Hook] Now they mad 'cause I'm moving, Mad 'cause I'm proving, Everything they doubted, I turned into music. Dust into diamonds, Pain into gold, Iron Cedar on the stage— Watch the story unfold. [Verse 3] Suede boots, black Durango, tinted windows laid back, Came from being counted out to putting Hayward on the map. Northwest Wisconsin, little city, big dreams, Native team on the screen, community in the scene. I ain't keeping opportunity locked away like Casper, I'm trying to bring it back, make the future move faster. Youth need a chance, need a reason to believe, So I'm giving them a vision of what they could achieve. Iron Cedar ain't just music, it's a message when I speak, From the community to the stage, from the strong to the weak. If I make it to the top, I'm bringing people with me, 'Cause the whole point of the climb is giving others a city. [Outro] Turn the page—let's turn the age, Time waits for nobody, so I'm stepping on the stage. Sky's the limit, now it's finally my time, I took the dust they threw at me And turned that dust into diamonds. Iron Cedar. Midwest made. Hayward raised. Community first. Now watch me shine.
