My beautiful and gifted Aunt Debbie passed away a few days ago, and this was her favorite song of mine, which is why I am entering this song into this week's RF Studio Contest with great love and remembrance for an amazing woman who I will dearly miss. My Aunt Debbie taught me so much. She was a true healer - she was a reiki practitioner who used crystals, flower oils, divination, and other natural, alternative means to repair the body and mind from trauma and illness of this world and prepare for future endeavors. I'm fortunate that she passed so much of her vast knowledge and techniques down to me. This song is based on things that she taught me, books that she gave me, and knowledge acquired through my personal research, as well as various other sources of divine inspiration. Since she did not want a memorial service, this is my tribute to her. This is me honoring her memory. And this is my acknowledgement that she still is with me in mystical ways we don't fully understand. This is a very emotional for me, as this is my way of saying the goodbye that I didn't get to say in the physical realm, goodbye and I love you to one of the most rare, compassionate human beings I've ever known. I wanted to thank her for all that she taught me, all the healing she went out of her way to do for my mind, body, and soul, and just tell her that I miss her so much. Although she's not in physical form, I feel her presence as an angel and a spirit guide and I hope I always will. I love you so much Aunt Debbie and I'm glad you're not suffering anymore.
