Brothers

We were tight like a knot, now we’re caught in a feud, Used to ride side by side, now it’s all about the crude. Once we shared the same dreams, now we’re chasing the guap, But the paper turned us cold, like the love that we dropped. Sibling rivalry, now it’s bloody and raw, Used to share secrets, now we’re breakin' the law. Got the streets on our back, but the trust is all gone, Every move that I make, you just waiting to spawn. Switched from playin' the game to just playin' the foes, Every glance that I give, now it’s daggers and blows. Used to build each other up, now we’re tearing apart, From the same bloodline, but you can’t heal a heart. Once we laughed at the struggle, now it’s war on the block, Two kings in the jungle, but we both want the crown. Thought we’d rise together, but now we’re lost in the sound, Enemies in the shadows, brothers lost and bound.
