by myself
Regrets in my chest, heavy like a lead vest, Wish I could rewind time, relive that childhood quest, Runnin' through the streets, dreams painted on my sleeve, Now I'm trapped in a cycle, it's hard to believe. Chasin' shadows of moments, I let slip away, Memories like whispers, they haunt me every day, Used to laugh with my crew, now it’s silence and gloom, Life's a puzzle missing pieces, trapped inside this room. Lessons learned the hard way, scars tell the tale, Used to ride on hope, now I'm caughtc in a gale, If I could trade my wisdom for the years I lost, I'd dance in the rain, never countin' the cost. Faded photographs echo the joy that was mine, Longin' for the innocence, that pure, youthful shine, But the clock keeps tickin’, can’t rewind the clock, Just a soul searchin’ for peace, on this endless block.
