"IT'S A LOTTA OF PAIN"

IT’S A LOTTA PAIN. 🖤💔 I don't don’t talk about this for sympathy. I’m talking about it because this is why I make music. Losing my mother and losing my grandmother changed something in me that I can’t even put into words. Those are two people I can never get back. There are moments I wish I could pick up the phone, hear their voices, tell them what I’m doing, and let them see the person I’m becoming. Sometimes I’m working on my music and I think about whether they would be proud of me. Sometimes the pain hits when nobody is around, and I just have to sit with it. Then I decided I was going to take my music seriously. I honestly thought the people I had around me would be the first ones to support me. I thought they would share my music, check on me, show up, or at least tell me, “Keep going.” But a lot of them didn’t. And that hurt too. Because when you’re already dealing with losing the people you love, realizing you’re chasing your dream mostly by yourself can make you feel like you’re fighting the whole world. But somewhere along the way, I stopped waiting for people to show up. I started showing up for myself. I learned how to keep going when nobody clapped. I learned how to believe in myself when nobody else did. I learned that sometimes you have to build your own table, sit at it alone, and keep working until they can’t ignore what you built. I’m still grieving. I’m still healing. I’m still learning. I’m still chasing this music. And the crazy part is… I’m actually doing good. I’m proud of how far I’ve come because I know what it took to get here. Every song has a piece of my story in it. Every step forward is for the people I lost, for the younger version of me that almost gave up, and for the artist I’m becoming. So if you hear pain in my music, that’s because it’s real. I didn’t choose this life because it was easy. I chose it because music is one of the only ways I know how to turn my pain into something that can live forever. Mom, Grandma… I hope y’all can see me. I’m still going. I’m still fighting. And I’m not stopping. 🖤🕊️ IT’S A LOTTA PAIN. BUT I’M STILL HERE. #ItsALottaPain #MyTestimony #ForMom #ForGrandma #BuiltOffPain #PainToMusic #StillGoing #UpAndComingArtist #DallasArtist #214This version is intentionally more vulnerable than “street.” That contrast makes the street-code parts hit harder because the pain underneath them feels real.
