“Mentally Effected” was originally written for the two-minute freestyle I performed onstage with Riff Raff at his show in Hamilton, Ontario, on August 15th at Underground Club 77. After the show, I wrote another minute or so to flesh the track out and turn that moment into a full single — capturing the energy of that night and the experience of performing alongside the legend himself. Shoutout to Ross Burns and Selfmehde — none of this would have been possible without him.
