I’MA THREAT

I’MA THREAT [Hook] I’ma threat, I’ma threat, better watch where you step, Came from the bottom, put the pressure on the neck. I don’t need a crown, I put the king in check, Talk slick, get checked — now your check gettin’ wrecked. I’ma threat, I’ma threat, every move is a bet, Money talk fluent, I ain’t even learned respect. They was sleepin’ on me, now they watchin’ every step, I don’t chase opportunities — opportunities get chased. [Verse 1] I got drive, but I ain't talkin’ ’bout a whip,Made a killing with the pen, call that lyrical hit. Got bars, but the only thing behind ’em ain’t steel, I’m a problem with a sentence, every line got appeal I keep change in my pocket, but I never change lanes, Put the pressure on the game, now I’m changin’ the frame. I got a lot on my plate, but I still eat with grace, They want beef with the boss, I put the steak in its place. I’m ahead of my time, so my watch look expensive, They throw shade at the king, I turn darkness to business. I got receipts for the talk, every claim got a proof, They say I’m hard to read — I just give ’em the truth. I’m in the field with the work, but I’m not pickin’ cotton, Got the game in a chokehold, tell ’em breathe if they got it. I came up from the floor, now I’m raisin’ the roof, When I say I’m on fire, that’s a statement, not a booth. [Hook] I’ma threat, I’ma threat, better watch where you step, Came from the bottom, put the pressure on the neck. I don’t need a crown, I put the king in check, Talk slick, get checked — now your check gettin’ wrecked. I’ma threat, I’ma threat, every move is a bet, Money talk fluent, I ain’t even learned respect. They was suleepin’ on me, now they watchin’ every step, I don’t chase opportunities — opportunities get chased. [Bridge] They said, “Slow down,” I said, “No chance,” I turned one shot into a whole advance. If the door locked, I’m breakin’ the frame, If they sleep on the name, I’m wakin’ the game Pressure make diamonds, I’m proof in the flesh, Put the weight on my shoulders, came out with a check. I don’t need permission, I’m takin’ my place, I’ma threat with a smile — still a threat in your face. [Verse 2] I got a chip on my shoulder, but it came with a meal, Now I’m cashin’ every plate like the hunger was real. I’m cut from a different cloth, tailor-made with the thread, They been sleepin’ on the kid, now I’m livin’ rent-free in they head I got a point to prove, but I’m sharp with the aim, Put a point on the board, then put points on the name. I’m outstanding in my field, that’s a standing ovation, Got the game in my hands like a job application I keep my circle tight, but my vision stay wide Got the whole team covered — that’s insurance with pride. They wanted smoke, I gave ’em fire with a spark, Now they see the light, but they started in the dark. I’m making cents out the nonsense, that’s a profitable verse, Turn a setback to a comeback, make the opposite work. I got bars in the booth and bars on the check, So when I say I’m a threat, put some respect on the threat. [Final Hook] I’ma threat, I’ma threat, better watch where you step, Came from the bottom, put the pressure on the neck.
