We fell in love in October

We fell in love in October (Verse 1) The air was crisp, the leaves a fiery show Walking through the park, nowhere left to go Your hand brushed mine, a spark in the cool breeze That's when I knew, you'd bring my heart to ease We talked for hours, beneath the amber sky Watching the clouds drift, as the days went by The scent of woodsmoke, a distant, gentle haze Lost in your eyes, through those enchanting autumn days (Chorus) We fell in love in October, beneath the harvest moon A whispered promise, coming all too soon With every falling leaf, our feelings grew so strong In that golden autumn light, is where we truly belong We fell in love in October, a story sweet and true My heart found its home, darling, when it found you (Verse 2) Shared hot cocoa, by a crackling fire's glow Talking for hours, watching the embers flow Your laughter echoed, a melody so sweet Every moment with you, felt perfectly complete We carved our names, into a pumpkin's bright orange skin A silly little memory, where our love could begin From corn mazes to hayrides, every day a new delight Holding your hand, through the crisp October night (Chorus) We fell in love in October, beneath the harvest moon A whispered promise, coming all too soon With every falling leaf, our feelings grew so strong In that golden autumn light, is where we truly belong We fell in love in October, a story sweet and true My heart found its home, darling, when it found you (Bridge) Some say it's the season, that casts a magic spell But I know it was you, who made my heart swell A love like the colors, so vibrant and so deep Secrets whispered softly, that only we could keep No summer fling, no winter's icy chill Just the warmth of October, standing perfectly still (Chorus) We fell in love in October, beneath the harvest moon A whispered promise, coming all too soon With every falling leaf, our feelings grew so strong In that golden autumn light, is where we truly belong We fell in love in October, a story sweet and true My heart found its home, darling, when it found you (Outro) And now every October, when the leaves start to fall I remember that feeling, I remember it all The day we fell in love, under that autumn sky My favorite memory, as the seasons pass by.
