Stepping Stone (Pt.2)

somewhere underneath all the wreckage and pain, There’s a man still breathing, still calling my name. And I don't need revenge, I just need one chance, To turn all these ashes into something that lasts. If my pain helped somebody find a better road, Then maybe every mile that I walked wasn't wasted. Maybe I was carrying a weight I didn't choose, So somebody behind me could learn what not to lose. But now I'm done being the ladder they use, Done letting everybody else decide what I’m worth. I survived every version of me I couldn't save, And I'm still standing here— That means I ain't finished yet. [Bridge] If you knew how many times I almost disappeared, You'd understand why I'm still standing here. I ain't proud of every battle, But I'm proud I stayed. And if nobody believes me… I'll believe in me alone. you say you cared, you say you loved me, but in the end all you love is to use and abuse and im living proof that as long as you have a beating heart there's always another path, stay in depression or go your own way, choose your own destiny..
