“Miles Can’t Measure This” is a song I wrote from my heart to my daughter, Alana. Living across the country from her, I’ve had to watch her grow up from a distance, and somehow it feels like the years disappeared overnight. This song is about how proud I am of the young woman she’s becoming, how much I miss being there for the moments in between, and the one thing I always want her to know…no matter where life takes her or how many miles are between us, I’ll always be her dad, and I’ll always be there for her.
