New Drop
Hard to hold on to the pen, After all that I've been through. Especially with my family, I almost broke them 'cause of this music. Never gained material things, Just the desire to get good With this rap, The pure dream to be great At something I truly fell in love with A lifelong search For somewhere to belong, Longing to get along To something I love. I guess it wasn't good enough. My saturated focus, Diluted purpose. Drifted far away From where I first started. It was different From the mindset I had at the start. Delusion fueled me Every time rap came into my life. I thought This time would be different... Since then, I've tried to sort it out, To solve the scattered pieces Between music And my mental stability. I've left behind The life Where music Came before everything. I took a break A break I wasn't sure I'd ever come back from. But somehow, Through injections, Dramas, And tears... I made it. I'm here. This time Without chronic, Without explosions, But with calmness, Conviction, And focus. Beside me now... Thankfully, With a few good friends too. I guess This is a new beginning. I don't know Where it'll lead me. But that's okay. What matters is I'm happy doing it, And the people Who love me Can finally rest While I do. #ROOL #NewDrop01
