POP CULT
Before we talk about the danger of cults, there is something uncomfortable we should admit. Most indoctrination does not begin in a hidden compound. It begins in your bedroom. It comes through a screen, wearing perfect makeup, repeating the same values, rewarding the same behaviours, selling the same idea of beauty, success, love, status and belonging. A cult tells you who to admire. Pop culture does that. A cult creates symbols, rituals and sacred figures. Pop culture does that. A cult teaches you the language you must speak to remain accepted. Pop culture does that. A cult makes you fear exclusion. Pop culture has turned exclusion into an industry. It tells you what to wear, what to desire, what to mock, what to purchase and what kind of person deserves to be seen. Then it offers you individuality from a catalogue. This does not mean every song, film, celebrity or trend is evil. Culture can inspire us, unite us and help us survive. The danger begins when culture stops growing from the people and starts being manufactured for them. When human longing becomes market research. When insecurity becomes a business model. When rebellion itself is packaged, branded and sold back to us. Perhaps that is why we call it pop culture. Because beneath the entertainment, the idols, the repetition and the rituals, there is something that looks remarkably like a pop cult. So welcome. You were not invited to join. You were born inside it. The question is not whether you have been influenced. The question is whether you are conscious enough to choose what influences you next. This would work strongly as a slow, cinematic CapCut monologue with the final four lines appearing individually on screen. Rewrite this with a beautiful and complex riming pattern. Every time there's a new sentence, start a new line every four lines put a break presenta press enter Here’s a version with a more intricate, interlocking rhyme scheme and the line/spacing structure you requested, designed to suit a slow, cinematic CapCut monologue. *** Before we speak of cults that hide in compounds deep, There is a truth too sharp for us to keep: Most mind-release does not start in some dark lair, It starts beside your pillow, in your chair. It comes through glass, in filters, perfect skin, Repeating what you must become to win; It sells you beauty, love, and status, too, A single script for all of us to view. A cult will tell you who is worth your praise, Pop culture does the same in brighter haze; It builds its saints, its symbols, and its rites, Then beams them through your endless, glowing nights. It teaches you the language to belong, The slang, the stance, the pose, the borrowed song; Step out of line and you will feel the sting, For exclusion is the product offerings bring. It dictates what to wear and what to crave, What jokes to laugh, what figures to enslave; It shows you who deserves to be in sight, Then sells you “you” packaged in black and white. This does not mean that every track is vile, Or that each film and trend is just a lie; Culture can lift, unite, and help us breathe, Can give us myths in which we don’t just leave. The danger starts when growth is no longer ours, When feeling turns to data, dreams to charts; When human longing is a market line, And insecurity becomes design. When rebellion is a brand you can afford, A logo stitched on every cry and chord; When every “break the rules” comes pre-approved, And every “be yourself” is mass-produced. Perhaps that is the reason for the name, Pop culture hiding something just the same; Beneath the noise, the idols, and the spin, A pop cult lives and lets us all walk in. So welcome here, though no one sent a call, You did not join; you were born in it all; The question is not if you’ve been swayed, But if you choose the next lens that you’ve made. ***

Yooo 😱
Hi, pardon me for the random message - I had to reach out because I saw great potential in you. I went through your profile and I was really impressed. From what I saw, I honestly think you’d be a perfect fit for the project I’m currently working on 💯 I can’t really explain everything here, so what’s your number, so I can text you with more details?
