The Bigger Picture by Joy Payne 7-23-2026
[Verse 1] Look at the bigger picture, not just your one pet verse Some folks defend it like leftovers they swear got reheated first God wasn’t only staring at Adam in a private little scene He had the whole human family in the margins of the dream Eve wasn’t just a footnote, a prop, a “then what?” She had a name before the garden, had a life before the plot Maybe she had errands, maybe cousins, maybe plans Maybe she was already busy being a fully formed woman [Hook] It’s bigger than one man, bigger than one wife Bigger than a quick read, bigger than a fight God was building people, not a museum piece Whole-room restoration, that’s the peace [Verse 2] Lucifer loves a split-up, loves a lonely little room Get you off the group text, then he works fast on the zoom He didn’t just want chaos, he wanted Adam off the map First man, first target, first “hold up, what was that?” Eve was at home learning how to laugh, cook, and say no Probably minding her business, probably moving at her own pace though Adam had been single long enough to act all tough Like, “I’m good,” then look over at a wedding and feel the nudge [Verse 3] The garden wasn’t just scenery, it was God saying, “Sit” “Breathe a second, son, you are not carrying all of it” A little sanctuary, no rent, no commute, no rush Just a place to get honest while the dust settled enough Adam wanted somebody, but he also had that face The one that says “I’m praying on it” while he circles the date So God gave him a story he could live inside Till he was ready for a wife, and ready to stop hiding pride [Rap] Let me make it plain, no holy smoke and mirrors Separation’s the enemy, it gets loud and it gets clearer Cut you off from grandma, cut you off from the crew Then he says “think for yourself,” while he’s thinking for you Snake talk with a newsletter, serpent acting official Sounded so convincing till the fruit got positional Eve wasn’t naive, she was curious, that’s true But curiosity and a liar do what liars love to do And Adam, brother, please, don’t look shocked, don’t freeze You left home before you left the last set of keys Now you’re blaming everybody like the notes on the fridge “Who moved my peace?” Man, you moved it when you slid [Verse 4] This is the revelation, and I’m saying it with a grin It’s not about tossing your old Bible study bin It’s about the bigger message, the one that keeps showing face God keeps pulling people out so He can make a new space Death keeps separating mothers, fathers, friends, and names Splitting up the table, playing that old cruel game But God’s not building distance, He’s bringing us back home Making scattered people into something fully known [Bridge] If the fall is the fracture, then grace is the repair If sin is the cold room, then mercy meets us there One story, many people, one God who doesn’t quit Restoration is the ending, and He’s stubborn about it [Verse 5] So yeah, I see Eden different, and maybe that’s okay The point is not the argument, it’s what the story says God was after communion, not a lonely little win A family, a future, a way to start again And if the enemy loves separation, then the answer is clear Stay in the room, keep talking, let the truth stay near Because every broken circle, every table split in two Gets called back by a God who knows how to make things new

From what I saw, I honestly think you’d be a perfect fit for the project I’m currently working on 💯 I can’t really explain everything here, so what’s your number, so I can text you with more details?
