i smile like I'm okay, but every quiet night reminds me I'm still learning how to heal.The echoes in my head are louder than the words I never say.I keep chasing brighter days even when they feel far away.Every mistake becomes another heavy lesson that I carry in my mind.I don't know what tomorrow holds or what I'm even gonna find.But I still choose to take a step and leave the darkness far behind.I lock my bedroom door and try to hide away the pain I used to feel.I stare up at the ceiling wondering if any of this is real.But deep down in my heart I know that time is gonna help me heal.Maybe one day I'll look back and realize I finally made it through the rain.I'll see the strength within my soul and know there was a purpose to the pain.I'm breaking down the walls and breaking every single heavy chain.I look into the mirror trying hard to find a better me.The world is getting heavy and it's getting really hard to see.But I’m still moving forward trying to unlock the person I can be.
