(intro) Night skies broken dreams everybody looking 4 a heaven in a place full of screams Damn... (verse 1) i said welcome to the city where the angels dont sleep where the stars shine bright but the nights run deep everybody got a story that they hide underneath big dreams in their eyes but they dying to breathe palm trees sway while the sirens sing everybody chasing fame and the finer things some lose their soul trying to gain that fame some find their wings when they lose everything i seen heroes fall and the villians rise seen truth get buried underneath the lies everybody wearing smiles like a perfect disguise but you can see the pain when u look in their eyes hollywood dreams with a broken heart trying to make a name trying 2 make a mark everybody wants light nobody wants dark but every angel got scars from the battles they fought... damn.. this song was inspired by the city of angels...L.A funny thing is i never been there im from Nyc 😂
