Broken pieces

Hit me with truth, it hurts to feel, But scars are real, this life ain't ideal. Reflecting on the past,the roads that we chose, Flaws in my mind,they twist and they pose. Caught in the cycle of memories that flight, Every place I've been just fades into night, Searching for peace in the chaos of screams, Climbing up mountains of shattered dreams. Broken pieces, scattered on this floor, A heart that's heavy, wants to soar, But all I can do is drown in the sound, of echoes fading,they weigh me down. Heavy river, flowing misconceived, Tying to breathe,but I'm still deceived. Nothing left, just me and my fight, Just shadows left dancing in the light. Glimpses of Hope,they flicker and fade, Caught up in the games that life's played. Searching for answers inside of my pain, Running in circles, I'm losing my name. But I rise like the dawn, despite the fall, Feeling each heartbeat, echoing my call. Through storms I wander, through fire I'll tread, A warrior's spirit, you'll see me ahead.
