He could hear 12 coming He saw the lights in the distance, Shot at the first cruiser with his 9 But he missed it, Cut through a back yard Like a man on a mission, Thinking if only the guard At the bank would’ve listened. Surrounded by the fuzz He knew he made a mistake, He thought of his wife And her smiling face, He reached for the gun That he had in his waist, Saw a flash and woke up Back in front of the bank.
