Rain-Free Rider” is straight out of On The List: Rap Star Destiny. This was the moment everything started changing for Eddie. After the crew gets called into the studio, Eddie takes a late-night motorcycle ride trying to clear his head. He doesn’t even know he can rap yet. He hasn’t written in years. Somewhere between the road noise, city lights, and pressure in his chest, the words hit him. That ride became “Rain-Free Rider.” The next night, he brings the song into the studio. Ghost immediately knows it’s different. Jenny hears the harmonies right away and starts building around it on the spot. Three takes later, they finally lock in the version that made everybody stop and look at each other like… yeah, this is real. You’re hearing a piece of the story before the world gets it.
