I wrote this song in a time of my life where it was very difficult for me to say no to a relationship but say yes to a relationship with myself and my kid when I felt like running and crying I didn't I stayed and I was patient and I would tell the abuse and I would tell the pain but I learned and gained a whole hell of a lot and that is to love yourself love your family and that your family comes first money comes later and that life is too short to be mad
