Sup RapFame, I’ve been doing a LOT of collaborations lately. Had to get back to my roots. Excited for y’all to hear my new track, Changes. Written, recorded, mixed&mastered by you boy DiversityDan! Changes explores the topic of self-improvement & striving/WORKING for a better life. I’ve been through a lot within’ my active addiction, 11 years total with only small bouts of recovery. I’ve been homeless, lost fantastic jobs, had complete & utter mental breakdowns, as well as serious mental health issues, lost friends, burned relationships, drove family away, lost all material possessions, been incarcerated numerous times, experienced violence, & even overdosed. I’m sober now. Personally my journey/transformation to where I am today was molded by numerous trials and tribulations… I shouldn’t be alive. My lyrics are raw, real, & uncomfortable. That’s exactly what addiction is… Raw, real & uncomfortable. However, you CAN change & you CAN recover but you need to put in the leg work & WANT IT. If I can get sober and start to transform my life anybody can. Yes fam, strong positive message of hope, great storytelling ✨🔥 my only criticism would be that it starts to drag a bit/lose energy somewhere in the second verse, but then it does pick up again and finishes strong with the hook, great job overall though 😎
