How we made beats in the eighties

I'm old school, so all this new technology that people are using like these makers and a slap pads. You can't call yourself a drummer if you're just patting on a pad that already has the pattern built into it. You know, I'm from a day when s*** was raw dog and this is why I did it to show people that some of us still do it that way I get asked all the time. For those samples.\n Are those really my beats? Do I use pre-made loop. No I didn't even know none of that. Stuff was existed in this room. I mean, if that's what you like to do, but you know, you can't say that you're making music music is already made and you're just putting it together artistry to claim it, pure has to come from your start to finish creativity. Through your sound, you know, I just seen these slap pads and it's cool, but I mean, it's more hype, they do more dance and and slap, and then they do actual talent, but it's still cool. I mean, they're still doing something for their new age. I guess but for me this is where the talent is. In my opinion, but I'm not knocking them at all with any kind of hate , I just in my opinion , if you're making music , you're making music if you're creating art of somebody else music you just have to be transparent about it.
