AD - Air Plane Mode
Airplane mode: the last gasp before the deluge. Anti-Deluvian— not “before the flood,” but “against it.” Like you’re not waiting for water— you’re daring it to come. No signal. No rescue. Just the cabin lights flickering like they’re scared of what you’re about to say. Anti-Deluvian means: the engines are already drowned, the wings are rusting mid-flight, and you’re the only one who still believes the sky won’t swallow us whole. Turn it off— and the flood doesn’t wait. It just… slides in through the vents, cold, quiet, like a lover who never learned to say goodbye. Anti-Deluvian: the poetry of pretending you’re not already underwater. And airplane mode? That’s the lie we tell so we don’t have to scream.
