Something I know I should be proud of when it comes to me being myself, But your envy leaves me wondering, why you don't see all those same qualities in yourself and want to stop shadowing me. You thought that was a compliment to say I would rather be you and not myself. I tell you that you are unique also in ways you tend to overlook. My life is not a fairytale story book. Yes, in time it has been good, but other times it has not always been that way. Okay I know I'm a style you want to look like. I have ways that are cosmetic in its appearance. My intentions are to appreciate me as me. I'm not sorry that I am your personal interference of what you want to value only in yourself. Celebrating all that you can do while discouraging me from following my determined path. Why do you play my protagonist? You said that you admire me and yet you are also hating me. You want to be just like me but only if I'm not who I am. Girl I will never understand. God made me love who I am. God did the same for you. This is true. But he wants you to love you for who you are. To him you are a star. Thank you for wanting to get to know me and showing me that there is something you do like about me that you thought you could mimic. Maybe you really want to be my friend and did not know how to show it. And thought that imitating me would get you, my attention. Well, it did and now I have to mention. I think you should think you are wonderful as you are. I want to get to know you. I do want to be friends. I hope one day you will believe what God has said. You are unique, blessed and a child of God so that makes your own star. Amen by Joy Payne
