rock story

We got metamorphism, heat and pressure to form a metamorphic rock. This takes millions of years to happen. Then the melting and recrystallization in or out of the volcano. This is called an igneous rock, they either have big or small crystals. Then we go to weathering and erosion from those rocks to create sediments, then compaction and sedimentation to create a sedimentary rock. We go back to metamorphism. It's a cycle. We got convergent plate boundaries colliding with each other. The oceanic plate dives down underneath the continental plate to form volcanoes and earthquakes. The convection currents go up and back down in a circle. Deep inside the earth we got inner core, made with solid iron and nickel. Up above that we have an outer core, made up of liquid iron and nickel. Then we got the mantle, the biggest layer. The last layer is called the crust, the smallest layer and the one we live on. There’s a divergent boundary, the two plates go away from each other. The transform plate boundary is where the two plates slide past each other.
