I’ve been reading my Bible, stop feeling like I’m idol, Lost in the pages, wisdom’s my survival, Searching for truth in a world that’s so tribal, Got my feet on the ground, but my mind’s in the sky though. Every chapter I flip, it’s a map to the soul, Navigating through shadows, trying to find control, I’m one with the word, let the spirit unfold, Excuse me for being real, but my faith’s worth its gold. In a city of idols, where the glitter deceives, I’m grounded in scripture, that’s where I believe, Life’s a puzzle, and I’m piecing it right, With the light of the word, I’m igniting the night. Every struggle I face, He’s the strength that I wield, In this battle of life, I’m the sword and the shield, With the ink of my pen, I’m just writing my fate, Mysterious vibes, but my heart’s never late.
