I finally came to realize that no matter how hard I try to do it my way, God will always sit me down and allow me to fall until I put Him first. (Matthew 6:33) I could continue to rap about my past life, sex, drugs, money and other societal pleasures and I will get absolutely nowhere with my music. It’s the main reason why I’m not where I should be. Trying to do it Stovey’s way was a disaster, which came with a disgusting ego and I’m truly thankful that He sat me down and woke me up. I wanna apologize to anyone I may have hurt or offended along the way, as that was never my intention with making music. Sometimes when a person experiences isolation, they react combatively instead of reflecting and I actually did both. Would have much rather only reflected, but that was God’s plan in teaching me. I just wanna say congratulations to everyone who’s won an award this year, and to keep going and keep bringing the talent to the community. There’s a lot of remarkable artists on the app and it’s only a matter of time before one of us puts us on the map. Just keep grinding. *** WHAT MAKES THIS TRACK UNIQUE *** I actually created the majority of the effects and sounds with my very own mouth. (i.e. Trumpets and Horns) An old friend of mine named OFaSho told me years ago that I should consider incorporating this talent of mine within my music and I finally did it. Now THAT is a signature move. Anyways, in summary, Put God first. Overcome your ego. Stay driven. Stay humble. Be creative. And treat others with kindness and respect. Oh, and BE GRATEFUL for your talents and gifts God blessed you with. Without God we are nothing.
