Chains Fall

Yeah… Father God, we come humbly, heads bowed, hearts open, Liftin’ every soul that’s bound, every mind that’s broken. You see the hidden fights, the tears we never show, The cravings in the dark, the wars nobody knows. Lord, we pray for the ones trapped in bottles and smoke, Alcohol numbin’ pain, every sip feel like a choke. For meth and heroin, needles full of despair, We plead the blood of Jesus, breathe freedom in the air. For cigarettes and vapes, slow death in disguise, For habits we justify, tellin’ ourselves lies. For pornography chains, lust twistin’ the brain, Shame whisperin’ “you’re stuck,” replayin’ the same pain. But You’re the God who breaks chains, no addiction too strong, You part seas, You heal minds, You right what went wrong. Your Word says who the Son frees is truly set free, So we claim that promise now, let captivity flee. Touch the dopamine scars, rewire what’s been bent, Restore what sin distorted, heal the damage it sent. Replace cravings with hunger for Your presence alone, Let Your Spirit move in us, make our hearts Your home. For the relapsing saint, feelin’ guilt, feelin’ weak, Remind ‘em grace is new every day, every week. Not by willpower alone, not by white-knuckle fight, But by surrenderin’ fully to Your truth and Your light. Put mentors in their path, godly friends, safe space, Remove triggers and temptations, let ‘em run their race. Teach us to flee, not flirt with the edge of the fire, Purify our desires, lift us higher and higher. Jesus, You bore our bondage when You hung on that tree, Every chain nailed down so we could walk free. So we lay it all down—every vice, every need, Declare You are Master, and we follow Your lead. We speak life over addicts, not labels or shame, They’re sons and daughters, redeemed by Your name. From the gutter to glory, from ashes to praise, We thank You in advance for the freedom You gave. In Jesus’ mighty name, we believe, we receive, Chains fall right now—yeah, Lord, we believe. Amen.
