She Said Yes
Verse Nazareth night, no lights, no fame, Angel stepped in, called out her name, “Favored by God,” grace in her sight, Fear in her chest but faith took flight. “How can it be?” logic protests, Spirit overshadow, heaven invests, World changed course in a whispered reply, “Let it be done,” echoed the sky. Womb held the Word, flesh wrapped in breath, Life inside her that would conquer death, Manger-born King, hay in His hair, Held the Messiah in a mother’s care. Watched Him grow, watched power ignite, Water to wine, revealed the light, Same hands she washed healed the blind, Treasured each truth, kept it in mind. Stood by the cross when the sky went black, Sword in her soul but she didn’t turn back, Loved Him through loss, through nails, through pain, Trusted God when it felt in vain. Then the stone rolled, grave got checked, Death got folded, hope resurrected, From womb to tomb to glory’s throne, Her yes still speaks—obedience strong. Hook (2x) Mary said yes—God moved through faith, Lowly obedience shifted space, Not the power, not the fame, Just a yielded heart for the Father’s name.
