This one ain’t just a song it’s my heart on record. “Every Time I See You” came from real moments the kind that never leave your chest. It’s about lookin at the person who changed your life and realizin no amount of money fame or attention could ever compare to what you built together. When I wrote this I was thinkin about my wife and our daughter. The way she holds our baby the way her smile still hits me the same way it did the day we met that’s the reason I breathe different now. I’ve been through pain I’ve seen fake love and I’ve seen what real love looks like when everything else falls apart. This track captures that moment when you finally understand love ain’t about what people give you it’s about who never leaves. The beat had that slow soulful pull to it the kind that makes you reflect before you even open your mouth. I didn’t write this to impress anybody. I wrote it cause I needed her to feel what words alone couldn’t say. It’s not about perfection it’s about truth. And every bar in this record came from somewhere I’ve actually been. So when you hear this don’t just listen to the melody hear the story behind it. The nights the prayers the weight and the love that built this moment. This one’s for the woman who stood by me when I had nothin but a dream for the family that gave me a reason to keep fightin and for anybody who’s ever found real love in a world that don’t show it enough.
