I walked through the fire, came out in gold, Didn’t lose my spirit, just shed the old. Every scar on my name turned into art, Now I paint my pain straight from the heart. Energy high, but my roots still deep, What they took from me, I learned to keep. Life isn’t cruel, it’s just a test in disguise, A sorting of souls, I do surmise. I’m reclaimin’ my light, Making’ all my lows right All of my lows become power on sight. This is not fake news, this is real insight, Peace in my chest will make my light shine bright. They said I changed — yeah, I had to grow, You can’t heal in the place you broke. I like to chase what was never mine, So I manifest when the stars align. My Soul i must temper like iron to steel, Every fall is just showing me how to kneel, If I want to succeed I need to have faith I stand on the fact that my faith is great I cannot hate, if I want to have grace, A mirror of truth that I had to face.
