how I feel

how can you tell me that you know how I feel if you ain't never done some dope or some pills, wake up in the morning with the shakes and the chills and you don't remember how sober even feels, its been like this for years I done shed so many tears asking myself how the hell i got here, i gotta pull myself together gotta be strong , cause addiction is a battle thats barely ever won, started off using just to have a little fun turned into a monster that I wished i could out run, cant count how many times i said i was done just to pick it up again damn I'm so dumb,what can i say when It takes away the pain and drowns out all the thoughts i fight with everyday, im bound by these chains its really got me but i pray that one day ill finally break free, until youve been in my shoes and walked the same streets dont tell me you know how it feels to be me
