Star Wars was on my mind when I composed this song. Not only the fights, the universe, or the Force, but the underlying feelings that the whole thing represented. One of the characters' love that was strong yet sad - that was the kind of love I referred to in my mind. Love of such a kind that it could still be found amidst the ruins around them. The song tells the story of a person's love, the antagonism, and the sorrow of loving someone in a world where obligation and fate keep tearing you apart.At the time of my composition, I pictured the tranquility experienced between the upheaval - the characters' unvoiced emotions, the glances that convey something more than words, and the feeling of certainty that love might not make it through the war but is still the brightest one out of all the stars in the galaxy. This music was birthed from that very spot: affection in the midst of a galactic tempest.(this is a demo of the song not the release version the release version is on youtube and other streaming platforms)
