down bad

Wake up in the morning, And I'm down bad, Look around the room, And the feeling’s sad, Touch up on my pockets, Gotta make some cash, Call my bro up quick, Come get me fast, Say he got somethings, On his mind to do, Give him about an hour, Then he's coming through, Heard him beep the horn, Then I ran out, Money on my mind, No more handouts, Get my pen and pad, I'm about to write some more, Hit that stage then tell them, Turn the lights down low, Open up my mouth, I heard the crowd scream go, We about to make it rapping, We are about to make it happen, We about to make it rapping, We are about to make it happen, Yeah. (Verse 1) Wake up in the morning, shadows on my wall, Heart heavy, dreams faded, feelin' lost in it all. City lights flicker, but the vibe's so dark, Thoughts racing like a car, but I’m stuck in park. Lost in my mind, demons whisperin’ Wake up in the morning, And I'm down bad, Look around the room, And the feeling’s sad, Touch up on my pockets, Gotta make some cash, Call my bro up quick, Come get me fast, Say he got somethings, On his mind to do, Give him about an hour, Then he's coming through, Heard him beep the horn, Then I ran out, Money on my mind, No more handouts, Get my pen and pad, I'm about to write some more, Hit that stage then tell them, Turn the lights down low, Open up my mouth, I heard the crowd scream go, We about to make it rapping, We are about to make it happen, We about to make it rapping, We are about to make it happen, Yeah.
