I had been freestyling before I made this but this was the first freestyle I was proud enough to post. I recorded this in my girl’s bedroom with a beat I found on YouTube (credits to lim0music on YouTube), it was an Earl Sweatshirt type beat. At the time I’d been listening to DOOM a lot, particularly Beef Rapp, and it inspired me to make a song about what I feel the state of rap is right now. I don’t really care about getting into politics, I think all genres or forms of rap are fair game, I just wanted to rap about something. Don’t take it personal.
