No Tears For Me”

No Tears For Me” (Intro – spoken, cold & raw) Don’t cry for me… You ain’t love me when I breathed, don’t fake it when I bleed. Play this loud, let the earth shake when I leave. (Verse 1) Throw dirt on my coffin, middle fingers to the sky, I was hated in this life, I’ll be hated when I die. Never begged for no love, never folded for respect, Every scar on my body is a war I collect. If the snakes show up, better watch where you stand, I don’t forgive, even death got a plan. Ain’t no peace in my chest, just fire and steel, I’m the pain you can’t bury, I’m the wound that won’t heal. (Hook) No tears for me—turn the speakers up, Bang my name in the dirt till the ground erupt. No prayers, no pity, just the fight I brought, At my funeral, remember—I gave all I got. (Verse 2) Fake love at my grave? Man, I hope that they choke, Where were you when I starved, when my hope was broke? Only one that ever loved me, death tore her away, So I carried my rage, bled it out every day. Don’t whisper my name soft—say it hard, say it raw, I was built to stand tall, never bowed to the law. If you feared me in life, better fear me in death, ‘Cause my shadow still lives in the air you breathe next. (Hook – harder) No tears for me—let the speakers bang, Play my war in the dirt, let the choir sang. No prayers, no peace, just the fire I fought, At my funeral, remember—I gave all I got. (Outro – spoken, fading but mean) Close that casket, let the dirt rain down, I was king of the lost, still wear that crown. No love, no mercy, just a soul set free— Bury my body… but you can’t bury me.
