My Past life
Sad reflections in the mirror, see the pain in my eyes, Lost in translation, every word feels like a lie, Tourist in this land, but they don’t see my heart, Bullying me softly, tearing me apart. (Verse 2) Language barriers built like walls, I can't climb, Every laugh, every snicker, feels like a crime, Defeated in the shadows, where the echoes reside, Trying to find my voice, but the silence won’t subside. (Verse 3) Life moves on, but I’m stuck in a loop, Caught in the cycle, feeling like a stoop, They don’t know my struggle, they just see the surface, But deep down inside, I’m fighting for my purpose. (Verse 4) Dark nights, bright dreams, but they fade like the light, Searching for connection in this endless fight, I’ll rise from the ashes, let them see me shine, Even if they laugh, I’ll claim what’s rightfully mine.
