standing in the shadows of my own demise I was living a fake life so full of lies twisted and tainted w those alibis promised the moon I got McDonald's fries he lied to my mom lied to my dad when I found out the truths it nearly drove me mad when the od happened all time stood still couldn't believe you'd trade family for a bottle full of pills karma came for you because of all those cheap fucking thrills left me alone to take care of all the bills karma is a beast and we all known that well trade the drugs for good deeds step outside that shell i the end we all get judged so I spare the details cuz karma is a bitch with some crazy stories to tell had to sell the cars cuz you loved them Xanax bars I couldn't even trust you to take care of our kid nobody should ever have to go through shit like this but I did and I lived but barely made it out alive all the things you did I couldn't stand to be your wife stealing a mower in the middle of the day or how about that time you robbed that man across the way? looking at you in ICU as I was coming unglued and faced the facts that were your lies did you ever tell the truth?
