Until the day I get to enjoy the experience of dying. Embracing the silence, I'm at peace being quiet. No longer repeating myself, Not wasting anymore energy Being silent is good for my health. My peace comes in the silence, Free from all the ignorant comments and words that tell me why I should keep trying. When pastors have told me they've never met someone who has been through as much trauma as I have for someone 42. Just going through the motions until the day my life is through. Most of you couldn't walk ten feet in my shoes, So who are you to tell me what I need to do? I've already been to heaven once how about you? So I will just shutdown completely and remain in the silence, Because it's more peaceful in the quiet. No one trying to tell me to try things I've already stated multiple times I've tried and didn't work, Meeting my death has a whole lot of perks. Like forever resting in the peaceful quiet, Forever at peace in my permanent silence. I have no emotions or feel anything other than sadness, anger, and pain. The silence is like the peacefulness of the rain, That comes during the storm of life and drowns out the pain. I've been standing in the gas, Laughing in the flames, Because I long to be able to feel again. So I just sit here in the quiet, Finally at peace in my silence, Waiting for the day I get to enjoy the experience of dying.
