last time I checked

Last time I checked, I was the man on these streets, Call me 90s baby, I paved the way in these beats, Got my mind on the grind, never takin' a seat, Stackin' paper like a boss, feel the heat from the heat. Came up from the bottom, now I’m runnin' the game, In a world full of players, I’m the one with the fame, Street lights flicker, but my vision stay clear, I’m the voice of the struggle, you can feel me near. Hustle hard, every night, yeah, I’m chasin' my dreams, Got the city on my back, hear the echo of my schemes, From the block to the top, I’m the king of the scene, Never fold under pressure, I’m a machine, know what I mean? Cash rules everything, but respect’s what I earn, Flip the script, watch me rise while these haters just churn, 90s baby, with the heart of a lion inside, In this concrete jungle, I’m the one with the pride. Last time I checked, I was the man in these streets, Call me 90s baby, I signed my name in these streets, Came from the bottom, now I’m stacking my feats, Hustle in my veins, you can’t take that from me. Rollin' with my day ones, loyalty’s a code, Every step I take, man, I’m heavy with the load, Dreams in my pocket, got that fire in my soul, Turned my pain to power, now I’m outta control. Late nights grindin', while they sleepin' on me, Countin' up this paper, yeah, I’m chasin' that green, Vision so clear, like I’m livin' in a dream, Got the streets on lock, know what I mean? Never backin' down, I’m the king of my zone, Built it from the ground, now I’m sittin' on the throne, Every single move, yeah, I’m makin' it known, From the block to the charts, watch me claim what’s my own.
