You can’t save me no matter how hard you try I’ll just pushback like gravity to defy Our love ain’t never going to Coincide When I want to go out you want to go inside yet we continue to wonder why we both cant align One’s busy pointing the finger while the other likes to victimize One never takes any blame while the other only ever likes to criticize When one of us gonna wake up smell the coffee and finally realize That we’re both going to be the downfall and cause of our own demise But it’s hard to analyze until your able to look through the others eyes Only then will the feelings entice and the healing finally Suffice Sometimes it takes a little sacrifice to satisfy in life take my advice Or you can roll the dice to try and win or in the end pay the price Sometimes you only get one shot at love it won’t happen twice Or some of us are just meant to be alone it sucks but that’s just a fact of life You can’t you can’t save me oh no You think you can save me well I don’t You think you can save me better buckle up it’s a bumpy ride what makes you think you can what more can you provide when my momma couldn’t no matter how hard she tried I just hope that at the end of the day it doesn’t cause to divide Cause things might get said that could trigger a response Causing one of us to get up run and abscond all this pain I’ve built I just hope one day that it stops It’s hard to move on because the heart wants what it wants Just like they say that plans don’t always go as planned As long as your willing I’m willing to give us another chance I remember how beautiful it was the day you caught my glance that full moon night was so bright with 2 bodies engaged in romance I put my finger to her lips and asked her not to speak I said this life ain’t meant to be chosen for the tired or the weak As we stood there holding hands it felt for like a week I ran my lips across her shoulders climbed her neck then kissed her cheek Gave her a wink Then fell 6 feet The ground started to sink Then started to harden like concrete I took one last breath & one last blink closed my eyes like playing hide & seek then everything turned bleek
