Stoopid Bike Lanes
đ´ Rush hourâs stacked up, ain't movinâ an inch, They cut out the lanes, now weâre all in a pinch. Miles of cars, engines burninâ away, But the bike laneâs empty the whole damn day. What stupid asshole thought these bike lanes were a good idea? Weâre jammed up for miles, but the laneâs sitting bare. They cut out our roads, now we're stuck in a crawl, While nobodyâs pedaling down them at all. They sold us a dream, called it "eco-smart," But all that they did was tear roads apart. They shifted the lanes, made everything tight, Now we're stuck in traffic every day and night. They ain't repealinâ, they doubled down, Pushed it through, wrecked the town. Millions wasted, streets all tight, But they'll never say, "Guess you were right." What stupid asshole thought these bike lanes were a good idea? Weâre jammed up for miles, but the laneâs sitting bare. They cut out our roads, now we're stuck in a crawl, While nobodyâs pedaling down them at all. One guyâs ridinâ, takinâ his time, While weâre stuck waitinâ, losinâ our minds. Heâs cruisinâ along, while weâre stuck in the grind, Well, they get a free pass, weâre left far behind. They knew it would fail, but they did it for show, To kiss the right asses and rake in the dough. They donât sit in traffic, they donât pay the price, Just laugh while we suffer and call it "precise." So what stupid asshole thought these bike lanes were a good idea? A clueless, corrupt, little bureaucratâs dream
