Black Awareness

Here's a song I came up with for Black Awareness 2025: Title: "Rise Up, Shine On" Verse 1 We're standing tall, we're standing proud Our heritage, our culture, loud and proud From Africa's roots to the world's stage We're celebrating our beauty, our strength, our age Chorus Rise up, shine on, let your light be seen We're breaking barriers, we're making dreams With every step, with every voice We're rising higher, we're making some noise Verse 2 From Martin to Malcolm, to Rosa and more We're honoring our heroes, who paved the way before We're standing on their shoulders, we're carrying the torch We're lighting the path, for a brighter, bolder course Chorus Rise up, shine on, let your light be seen We're breaking barriers, we're making dreams With every step, with every voice We're rising higher, we're making some noise Bridge We're not just a moment, we're a movement too We're rising up, we're speaking truth We're celebrating our diversity, our unity We're shining bright, we're being free Chorus Rise up, shine on, let your light be seen We're breaking barriers, we're making dreams With every step, with every voice We're rising higher, we're making some noise Outro So let's rise up, let's shine on Let's celebrate our beauty, our strength, our song We're black, we're proud, we're rising high We're shining on, we're touching the sky! This song aims to capture the spirit of Black Awareness 2025 with a message of pride, empowerment, and celebration.
