Deny The TruHouse

My neighbor comes to my house every day (Verse 1) Yo, my neighbor knocks, it’s a daily routine, Got a cup of coffee, he’s vibin’ like a dream, Talkin’ ‘bout the weather, like we’re best of friends, But I’m low-key wonderin’ when this madness ends. (Verse 2) He’s always in my yard, tryin’ to borrow my tools, Sippin’ on my soda, man, he think I’m a fool, Got his dog runnin’ wild, chewin’ up my lawn, Every single day, feels like I’m bein’ drawn. (Verse 3) We exchange pleasantries, but it’s wearin' me down, Can’t even chill at home, feelin’ like a clown, He’s got stories for days, but I’m losin’ my mind, Just want some peace, man, can I find the time? (Verse 4) I’m thinkin’ ‘bout a plan, maybe set some lines, Put a “Do Not Disturb” sign, yeah, it’s time to define, Boundaries in place, gotta take back my space, But deep down inside, I know I’m just a soft face. (Verse 1) My neighbor comes to my house every day, Knockin' on the door like he’s got something to say, Got that coffee cup in hand, lookin' half awake, Talkin’ 'bout the weather, like it’s all at stake. (Verse 2) He’s spillin’ all the gossip, man, it’s hard to ignore, Says the block’s gettin’ wild, can’t keep up anymore, Every little drama, he’s the first to relay, I’m just tryna chill, but he’s here to stay. (Verse 3) “Did you see that car? Man, it parked on my lawn!” I’m nodding my head, but inside I’m yawnin’, He’s got the scoop on everyone, every single play, But sometimes I just need my peace, you know, that’s my way. (Verse 4) Yet I can’t deny, he’s a part of my grind, Got me laughin’ ’bout life, keepin’ me aligned, So I roll with the flow, let the stories unfold, My neighbor’s daily visits, yeah, they’re pure gold.
