Sad had dreams, but they fade like the night, Chasing shadows, lost in the fight, Thought I had wings, but I'm grounded in pain, Whispers of hope, just a ghost in the rain. (Verse 2) Heart heavy, like chains, dragging slow, Memories haunt me, they won’t let me go, Eyes wide open, but the vision's unclear, Once bright futures turn to dust and fear. (Verse 3) Echoes of laughter, now silence remains, Searching for solace, but I'm lost in the flames, Wish I could hold on, to the dreams that I had, But they slip through my fingers, leaving me sad. (Verse 4) Underneath the surface, the struggle is real, Fighting these demons, who know how I feel, Sometimes I wish they would stay, never stray, But life’s cruel twist pushes dreams far away.
