I wrote this song in prison to my sons mother who had lost him to social services due to neglect and abuse and wasn’t putting in any effort to get him back instead she ran the streets with niggas who wanted to do harm to me I still had 8 years before I could even see a parole board and was a helpless by stander in a cage to it all while she heartlessly let our son slip into the foster system alone and by him self I heard all her lies and excuses and responded to her betrayal of our child with this song I fought to keep Dangelo out of that system all by my self behind bars with almost a decade ahead of me in there I struggled alone
