Life is hard,
Hope I make it,
It’s a risk,
But I’ll take it,
Feeling like I’m livingyf
Stuck in the basement,
I’m just trying
To get a higher placement,
Life is hard,
But I’ll make it,
¹¼11¹1¹11¹¹¹11¹¹11¹111I can’t wait a long time
I’m anxious,
11m¹ just gotta get off¹
The pavement,¹
So they hear me across
The nation,
Life is hard.

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.
