There are times I sit and reflect... on life and how I miss my pops and the things we did... sigh ... from working on cars to simple life's lessons. And there is the one thing that he said that stands out. "It will be aright tomorrow." As a man here I am, raised to be... grown but not alone... with a legacy, lemme see, - where should I start, depart from my heart and embark on a travesty. Death it seems - took you away from me, but not just me, the rest of the family. The gravity... it weighs a lot, but the plot of the story is not just a summary. Recovery... it took a minute, not over it completely - went to the limit. Adversities... made me versatile, got me back on my feet... and with a smile As i compile, these thoughts you not here with me, i hold you close inside - of my memories. The days and nights no longer coincide...with the pain that once was... that's been denied it's not my pride, that gets me best, but the nights of sleeplessness and the stress... I must let it go, but hold on to you, as the line is too close to separate the 2.
