In honor of Mother’s Day this month, and particularly in honor of my mother, I wrote this to express the pain I feel when I realize that we are slowly, but surely, losing her to liver failure. Mom I love you to death and I know we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but you are God’s greatest blessing to me and I am forever grateful for you, and for us being able to get back on track.
