Higher Calling

Today I find my life at a crossroads, Only to see it all unfold, Knowing that it applies to both the young and old, Even when tempers run hot and cold, That’s when a higher calling is shown, Really something for your eyes to behold, Now remember to hold on to your soul, Cause this is never to be sold but told, And remember you were never alone, He went first, on every path you chose, Careful though, cause every path is your own, and if you chose wrong you must atone, This higher calling is simple, Just like a smile with a dimple, Passed down from your kinfolks, And if the devil takes from you the G. O. D. Will give his believers back ten folds, And believe me he delivers when least expect it, Only to bless the ones who respect it, So put your hand down only trying to collect it, And not all can see that they were selected, So they feel neglected, And rejected, Because they forget what they’ve already been blessed with, But not all of us hear the call, And we understand what the reason is for the fall, Not for God to watch us crawl, But rather to see us return and win it all, I speak from the heart cause this is what I saw, So this is why I reach out to all of y’all, Only with love and an invitation to come join him for heavens ball, I am just the messenger and I come with hope, Even when it’s to hard to cope, And you feel like you are at the end of your rope, Believe me you will feel like this is a joke, But when you allow God in your heart, you will remember those words that I spoke, I will see you next time, when you hear this rhyme, all praise to G O D cause now there’s no more retreat in me, And I’m blessed by the best you see, I can only attest from the confess in me, he did it again, Love you Jesus, peace and prosperity to all of thee.
